SUMMER SCHEDULE OF
AFFINITY SPACES
What is an "Affinity Space"?
The term "affinity space" was first introduced by James Paul Gee around 2004/2005. Today, there are many definitions, uses & benefits to affinity spaces. For K.B. Theatre Company, "affinity spaces" are fluid safe places for individuals that share similar passions & backgrounds to openly and respectfully converse about various topics. Affinity spaces are not necessarily goal-oriented, but for the summer of 2020, we are hosting affinity space keeping in mind the following goals:
Please note that Afro-Latinx peoples are welcome & encouraged to participate in both
the Latinx & the Black Communities' Affinity Spaces. If you have any questions regarding these events please contact Jesús López at [email protected]
